What you actually control
| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| Click or tap | Sends the first car in the queue into the loop |
| Drag the screen | Moves the camera |
| Speaker icon, top right | Sound on or off |
You never steer, brake or accelerate.
Minute by minute
Minute 1. Do nothing. Watch the loop go round once. The traffic was moving before you arrived and your queue is standing still.
Minute 2. Drag the screen until you can see the stretch of road just before the entrance. That is where gaps come from.
Minute 3. Send a car as the tail of a bunch passes the entrance. On level 3 the six red cars travelled in two groups of three with long empty stretches between them.
Minutes 4 and 5. Keep going until the queue is empty. The number painted in the middle of the roundabout is the level, and it goes up when you clear one.
The mistake that ends first runs
Forgetting that your own cars stay on the loop. Every car you send keeps circling with the others, so each gap is a little shorter than the last. By the end of level 4 we counted nine cars going round at once.
Good to know
- Your queue has its own colour: green on level 3, blue on level 4. Count your colour on the loop to see how far you have got.
- The three circles at the top fill with yellow as the level goes on. The game does not label them.
- We saw no timer, so there is no reason to rush the first send.
Skip it if
You hoped to drive laps. The real rule behind the game, give way to traffic on the roundabout, is all there is. For a slower puzzle about cars leaving instead of joining, see Bus Parking Out.
That is the short version. The long one, with every screen we saw and the questions people ask about it, is in our Circle Car page.
