What you actually control
| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| Up | Accelerate |

| Pause, top right | Pauses the run |
| Green button on the results screen | Retries the mission |
Minute by minute
Minute 1. Wait for the green countdown on the road. The first mission is “Reach Finish in Time” and gave us about 36 seconds.
Minute 2. Hold Up and keep it held. The bar across the top has two green checkpoint flags and a chequered one.
Minute 3. When the clock runs out the game offers a continue. Say No to see the results.
Minutes 4 and 5. Read the table. It pays for distance, close overtakes, high speed, riding in the opposite direction and the mission.
The mistake that ends first runs
Easing off. Speed builds slowly: holding the key took us from 20 to 46 km/h in about 23 seconds, which was most of the clock. None of our runs crossed the first green flag.
Good to know
- The timer turns red in the last seconds.
- Score and cash are different numbers. Two runs of almost the same length scored 5 and 29, so how you ride matters.
- After a failed mission only home and retry looked active.
Skip it if
You want a third-person view. Traffic Racer 3D shows the whole road.
That is the short version. The long one, with every screen we saw and the questions people ask about it, is in the Motorcycle Racer Road Mayhem write-up.
